World 100m champion Sha’Carri Richardson has received high praise from her fellow American sprinter whom she is rumoured to be in a relationship with.
Former world 100m champion Christian Coleman has spoken glowingly about American compatriot Sha’Carri Richardson who has taken the world by storm since winning the 100m gold medal at the 2023 World Championships.
Coleman and Richardson have been rumoured to be dating since being spotted together in an 'awfully cozy' outing in Budapest but the two have not addressed that topic yet, chosing to speak about each other’s talents instead.
It is that very issue that was on the menu on Friday when Coleman spoke highly of Richardson’s talents lauding her for helping elevate track and field with her bubbly personality.

Sha'Carri Richardson penned a legendary message to her 'rumoured boyfriend' Christian Coleman on his 28th birthday.
“She is special, and I think she is someone who is at the forefront of women empowerment and women sports taking it to a whole different level,” Coleman in Xiamen ahead of Saturday’s Diamond League opener where both athletes will attend.
“A lot of people are fans of her not just men and women, she is a beast within her own right and she is a special talent.”
Coleman is among those who are excited to see the outspoken Richardson continue championing the rights of athletes and the 28-year-old says he draws a lot of inspiration from the way the 24-year-old goes about her business.
“She is somebody who is prepared to take the sport forward and take it to new heights and I am a fan too,” added Coleman.
“I am excited too and she is someone that I pull inspiration from. To be able to see where she is going in her career and everything she is doing now is really special and I am inspired by it and she is going to continue being at the forefront and pushing the sport forward.”
The 2019 world champion in 100 is looking to begin his Diamond League season in style after claiming the World Indoor Championships title in 60m while this will be the first outing for Richardson this season.
