US Champion Sha'Carri Richardson extended her unbeaten run this season, defeating Shericka Jackson for the second time to win the Silesia Diamond League.
In a battle of the two fastest women in the world this season, Sha'Carri Richardson defeated Shericka Jackson in 10.76s (0.2) to win the women's 100m at the Silesia Diamond League.
The newly crowned US champion had a poor start but chased down the Jamaican champion, crossing the finish line first ahead of Jackson in 10.78s, while home girl Ewa Swoboda ran a blistering Personal Best (PB) of 10.94s for third.
Richardson has been in exceptional form this season, staying unbeaten in all her 100m races and running most of the top fastest times this year.
She clocked a brilliant PB and a then world lead of 10.71s at the US championships, but it was short-lived as Jackson smashed it 24hrs later with a fantastic PB of 10.65s to win the Jamaican title.
