Shashalee Forbes faced an unfortunate turn of events during the 100m final. Despite a promising start, Forbes pulled up, visibly in pain, and began limping, eventually unable to continue.

It was a moment that could dampen the spirits of any athlete and audience alike. However, what followed was a poignant reminder of the camaraderie that exists amongst competitors.

In an act that has since been hailed as the epitome of sportsmanship, Richardson and Terry rushed to Forbes' aid.
