American sprint queen Sha'Carri Richardson has opened up about two of her hidden talents.

Reigning world 100m champion Sha’Carri Richardson has shared two of her hidden talents that will certainly leave fans in awe.

Speaking at the Hayward Field in Eugene, Oregon during the US Olympic trials, Richardson noted that she enjoys cooking and dancing during her free time.

The 23-year-old also revealed other things about herself that fans would be interesting in knowing from the time she loves training to her greatest inspiration.

“I love morning workouts and I’d say my biggest inspiration is my family and faith. I also do really believe in aliens,” Richardson said.

Speaking about her hidden talents, she said: “I love to cook and I’m a big dancer.” She added that she prefers improving her personal best time to winning a medal at any event.

Meanwhile, Richardson was off to a shaky start to her season but bounced back with an easy win at the Prefontaine Classic, the Diamond League Meeting in Eugene, Oregon.

She opened her season with a second-place finish at the Diamond League Meeting in Xiamen before finishing third at the meeting in Suzhou, competing in the 200m at both events.

The American sprint queen then bounced back with a 100m win on home soil before continuing her winning streak. At the ongoing US Olympic trials, she started off by winning the 100m and punching a ticket to the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, winning the race in a world leading time of 10.71.

She will enjoy the company of training mates Melissa Jefferson and Twanisha Terry who clocked 10.80 and 10.89 to cross the finish line.

In the 200m, Richardson has shown impressive form, winning her respective heat in 21.99 ahead of Abby Steiner and Tamari Davis.
