World Athletics president Seb Coe has urged the International Olympic Committee to look into the rules on transgender and the differences in sex development (DSD) athletes.
Seb Coe is vying for the IOC president seat and vowed that if he takes office, he would certainly look into that. Thomas Bach, the current IOC president will be in office until next year March and during his visit to Africa, he promised to work until the final day.

Grand Slam Track: Why UK turned down hosting Michael Johnson's new event despite Keely Hodgkinson's star power
UK Athletics has turned down the chance to host Michael Johnson’s new Grand Slam Track series, choosing instead to focus on building the London Diamond League into a premier event for British athletics.
This came a year after the boxer was disqualified from the World Championships. The disqualification came after Imane Khelif failed a gender eligibility test. Taiwan’s Lin Yu-ting was also banned by IBA but allowed to compete at the Paris Olympic Games.
"I think the International Olympic Committee needs a very, very clear policy in this space. And the protection of the female category, for me, is absolutely non-negotiable,” Coe told BBC sports.
"If you are not prepared to do that, and that is where the international federations expect a lead to be taken, then you really will lose female sport and I'm not prepared to see that happen. I'm not sure that policy is clear enough at the moment."
The International Olympic Committee gave Imane Khelif a go ahead to compete after they questioned the legitimacy and credibility of the IBA's tests.
Seb Coe is also getting ready for the presidential race and he explained that he is ready for the task since he has been involved in the sport for ages. He oversaw the London 2012 Games and later took charge of World Athletics.
"It's a movement I spent my whole life in. I feel as though actually I’ve probably been in training for life for this so yes, it'd be a huge honour. I don't know if it's the toughest race I've ever run, but it's the one I'm best prepared for,” Seb Coe said.

Junelle Bromfield was all smiles as she looked stunning in her outfit alongside her fiancé Noah Lyles who never disappoints when it comes to fashion.
"I think there are some changes that need to be made and fundamentally around just enabling the membership, the athletes, the National Olympic Committees, the international federations, partners, broadcasters, to have greater skin in the game and to help structure the future. This isn't the efforts of just one person. I think it needs a collaborative, team-building transition.”
He is aware of the tough job that awaits him if he gets the chance to lead the International Olympic Committee but is ready for the task. He explained that there are fundamental challenges at the IOC including geopolitical, economic and commercial issues.
Seb Coe explained that the introduction of prize money at the Olympic Games was a great thing but he will not force all federations to come through for their athletes since some do not have the capacity to do that.
