Nigeria's long jumper dominantly won her first professional meet in Italy.
Talented long jumper Ruth Usoro claimed her first professional win at the Meeting Citta' Di Padova in Italy.
Usoro soared to an impressive distance of 6.75m (0.1) for a dominant victory over the field, with Croatia's Neja Filipic's 6.18m good enough for second position.
The Nigerian long and triple jump sensation was in a league of her own, as any of her five legal jumps would have been more than enough to win.
Usoro's victory is a vital confidence boost for the youngsters professional career, who sadly missed reaching the final by 0.1m, having finished thirteenth overall at the World Championships in Budapest.
