Olympic champions Tara Davis-Woodhall and Hunter Woodhall charmed fans with their playful Halloween costumes as Princess Tiana and her frog.

Olympic gold medalist Tara Davis-Woodhall and her husband Hunter Woodhall recently dazzled fans with a sneak peek of their whimsical Halloween costumes.

The dynamic duo, who brought home their first Olympic gold medals from the Paris Games, took to social media to share a video of themselves dressed as Princess Tiana and her beloved frog, a nod to the beloved Disney tale, The Princess and the Frog.

In the video, Davis-Woodhall stuns in a beautiful sea-green gown fit for a princess, perfectly channeling Princess Tiana’s elegance.

Woodhall, on the other hand, adds a playful touch as the “frog” of the duo, showing off his costume with a charmingly goofy flair.

The caption of the post reads, “Princess Tiana and her frog,” delighting fans and giving them a glimpse of the couple’s lighthearted side.

“Life update: it’s not easy. Been having a tough time recently. With the move, crazy schedules, and life’s pace it’s hard to find a new normal. It’s hard to get back in the swing of things, but we’re getting there,” shared Woodhall in a recent Instagram post, reflecting on the couple’s recent move and adjustment to life in Kansas.

Despite the struggles, the couple found a moment to enjoy themselves in festive Halloween spirit.

The pair has had an eventful year, both on and off the field. After clinching gold in Paris, they made the move from Arkansas to Kansas City as Davis-Woodhall accepted a new role as an assistant coach for the Kansas State University track and field team.

The move also marked a shift in their personal lives, bringing both excitement and challenges. Their longtime coach, Travis Geopfert, also transitioned to Kansas State, making the transition somewhat smoother for the couple.

Davis-Woodhall’s remarkable leap of 7.1 meters at the Paris Olympics earned her a gold medal, defeating defending champion Malaika Mihambo and setting a personal record.

Meanwhile, Woodhall’s victory in the 400m T62 event, clocking in at 46.36 seconds, marked a monumental achievement in his career.

Although he didn’t podium in the 100m T64, his gold in the 400m event was a triumphant moment for the athlete, who has long been an inspiration for athletes with disabilities around the world.

Reflecting on the recent move, Woodhall expressed gratitude for the unwavering support from their family and friends.

“Apart from all this there has been a silver lining. We have the most incredible friends and family in our life that have been getting us through. Life is hard, and it’s okay to not always feel your best. Things will get better, I just gotta keep reminding myself of that,” he wrote in a heartfelt Instagram caption.

The couple’s relationship has been a testament to resilience and support, dating back to 2017 when they first began their journey together.

Through years of long-distance during their college days, they navigated the ups and downs of balancing athletic careers and a relationship.

In October 2022, they celebrated their union in a beautiful ceremony at D'Vine Grace Vineyard in McKinney, Texas.

The Kansas move, combined with the post-Olympics adjustment period, has brought changes and challenges to their lives, but Davis-Woodhall and Woodhall are tackling them together, one step at a time.
