Noah Lyles has revealed how Rai Benjamin, Grant Holloway and Co helped him navigate through tough times and overcome challenges.
Triple world champion Noah Lyles has credited Olympic 400m hurdles champion Rai Benjamin and Olympic 110m hurdles champion Grant Holloway among others for helping him overcome life’s challenges.
Lyles, who has had to deal with new found fame after the Paris Olympic Games, explained that his teammates bring about a positive wave in his life that help him go through life’s phases easily.
The reigning Olympic 100m champion pointed out that for that matter, he feels like they are the only ones who qualify to be in his inner circle and they get to celebrate life’s achievements together.

Noah Lyles won the 200m US Olympic trials for Paris Games largely because of the quality of competition with Christian Coleman and Kenny Bednarek pushing the 27-year-old to bring his A-game.
The American sprint king further revealed that partnering with brands that give his life meaning like Celsius has also been life changing for him.
Noah Lyles was speaking on the Beyond the Records podcast that he started with Grant Holloway and Rai Benjamin.
“They are my positive pressure. These are the people you celebrate with when it feels the most meaningful,” Lyles added.
He has been through ups and downs in his career including facing tons of online criticism but with such a strong support system, Lyles has learnt how to go through the phases.
The three-time world 200m champion added that he has learnt to grow thick skin and he only addresses things that are necessary.
"Once the general public gets a hold of what I say, they make their opinion and put it off as my opinion," he explained.

Lyles admitted to be struggling with fame, explaining that he is not in the right financial state to hire his own security.
"To be all honest, I'm kind of struggling with it. I don't make enough money to hire my own security 24/7-but I'm obviously popular enough that wherever I go, I'm going to be noticed and seen," he said.
"People come up and touch you because they feel like they know you. They've grown up with you; they've seen you through the screens."
