The stage is set for a highly anticipated meeting between McLaughlin-Levrone and Bol.

Their rivalry has captured the imagination of athletics enthusiasts around the world.

The last time these two extraordinary athletes met on the track was at the 2022 World Championships in Oregon.

In a historic race, McLaughlin-Levrone emerged victorious, breaking the world record in the process. Her triumph was a testament to her incredible speed and resilience.

However, the subsequent year saw McLaughlin-Levrone sidelined by injury, unable to compete at the World Championships in Budapest.

It was there that Bol seized the opportunity to claim her first world title, marking the beginning of a new chapter in their rivalry.

Despite only having faced each other twice in their careers, the anticipation for their next encounter has been steadily building. Both athletes are aware that the upcoming race could redefine the landscape of the 400m hurdles.

Since the Tokyo Olympics, where McLaughlin-Levrone set a world record of 51.46 seconds and Bol took home the bronze medal, both have pushed the boundaries of the sport.

McLaughlin-Levrone became the first woman to break the 51-second barrier, achieving an astonishing time of 50.68 seconds to win the world title in Oregon.

Bol has consistently improved her performance proving herself a formidable opponent on the track.
