Lilian Odira and Vivian Kiprotich fail to qualify for the finals after wilting in scorching semifinals.

Mary Moraa will be Kenya’s sole representative in the final of the 800m race at the ongoing Paris 2024 Olympics after she nonchalantly won her semi final with a run of 1.57.86.

Moraa, who is the reigning world champion, looked comfortable throughout and made her case clear to set up an intriguing final against Great Britain's Keely Hodgkinson.
