Shericka Jackson has finally been spotted at the athletes' village in Paris after numerous fan speculations ahead of the Olympic Games track and field action.

A huge contingent of Jamaican athletes landed in Paris, France last week Friday but Shericka Jackson was a no show.

The two-time world 200m champion was also not spotted at the Olympic Games opening ceremony and fans started raising eyebrows about her absence from the team, owing to the fact that other top athletes had already arrived.

The Jamaican top athletes including Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce, Oblique Seville and Kishane Thompson had already started training in preparation for the Olympics and were also doing media interviews.

However, fans can now sigh in relief as the two-time world 100m silver medallist has been spotted at the athletes’ village in Paris.

The photo shared by Jamaica Observer shows Jackson wearing black sunnies with jeans shorts and a sleeveless top. Her hair is also nicely done and tied.

“SPOTTED! #TeamJamaica's Shericka Jackson, the reigning queen of the 200m, was seen in the Athletes Village earlier today. Watch out for her as she gears up to light up the track!” the caption read.

Jackson has had quite a slow start to her season, and her last meet, Gyulai István Memorial, ended in a disaster with her pulling up an injury a few meters to the finish line of the race.

Jackson opened her season later than usual, racing at the JAAA All Comers Series #1 where she won the women’s 100m. The Jamaican sprint queen then won the Diamond League Meeting in Rabat before finishing fifth at the Diamond League in Oslo.

Jackson then bounced back at the Diamond League Meeting in Stockholm before securing a double win in the 100m and 200m at the Jamaican Olympic trials.
