Grant Holloway oozed class in the men's 110m hurdles semifinal at the Paris Olympics as he punched his ticket to the final of the race.
Grant Holloway oozed class as he claimed the win in the first heat of the men’s 100m hurdles in 12.98 seconds ahead of his opponents.
Holloway had a great start of the blocks as he cleared the blocks in style, crossing the finish line clear of his closest challenger, Enrique Llopis of Spain who clocked 13.17. Defending champion Hansle Parchment completed the podium, clocking a season-best time of 13.19 to cross the finish line.
In the semifinal, the first two to cross the finish line automatically qualify for the final with the two fastest losers also making the cut to the final.

Paris 2024 Olympics: USA's Grant Holloway dominates 110m hurdles heats as Jamaica's Hansle Parchment barely qualifies
Holloway dominated his heat, qualifying for the semi-finals on 13.01 seconds, with Parchment barely qualifying despite underwhelming heat.
Competing in the second heat, Jamaica's Rasheed Broadbell did not disappoint as he claimed the win in style, stopping the clock in 13.21 ahead of Freddie Crittenden who clocked 13.23 for second place. Senegal's Francois Mendy completed the podium in 13.34.
The third heat saw Jamaica's Orlando Bennet take the win in 13.09 as Daniel Roberts came in second, clocking a stunning 13.10 to cross the finish line. Shunsuke Izumiya of Japan rounded up the podium with a striking time of 13.32.
Meanwhile, Parchment and Rachid Muratake secured the final sport as the fastest losers and they will be out to rectify their mistakes before D-day. Parchment is the defending champion and he looks to make an impact this year as he looks to defend his title going up against a strong field.
