Sha'Carri Richardson and Noah Lyles will both be running their last 100m race of the season at the Prefontaine Classic Diamond League final in Eugene.

Newly crowned world's fastest humans, Noah Lyles and Sha'Carri Richardson, have been confirmed for the Diamond League final at the Prefontaine Classic in Eugene.

The American track stars won the 100m titles at the World Championships in Budapest to become the fastest man and woman in the world this year.

In addition, Lyles defended his 200m title and anchored Team USA to the 4x100m gold medal - thereby accomplishing his mission of winning three gold in Budapest. While Richardson won the 200m bronze medal, and also anchored her country to the 4x100m gold medal.

Both will now gun to close their impeccable 2023 season in grand style when they race in front of their home crowd at the Prefontaine Classic Diamond League final in Eugene.

A win for Lyles will see him end the year as the joint world leader in the men's 100m, a triple world champion, undefeated in the 200m, and a Diamond League trophy.
