Olympics 100m champion Noah Lyles is hoping that his new bright hairdo brings the lucky charm for him in 2025 after a topsy-turvy 2024 campaign.

Olympics 100m champion Noah Lyles is known for his ability to experiment with different eye-catching hairstyles.

Lyles spots a variety of hairstyles that makes him stand out on and off the track and has decided to ditch his old hairdo for a new one during the festive season.

The world 100m champion unveiled a new hairstyle to his fans, spotting a stylishly braided look, weaved with precision.

His neatly pulled back braids form multiple smaller sections that are blended together and he showed his excitement by unveiling it on social media.

“Big star style,” Lyles’ stylists All My Kair posted on Instagram, accompanying the post with a clip of the track star showing off the new look.

Lyles already showed off his new style during the Christmas period when he spotted it as he visited the Universal Orlando Resort in Florida with his fiancé Junelle Bromfield for the festivities.

For a man known to be outspoken and who likes to draw attention, the new hairdo fits well with Lyles’ character and he will be hoping that it yields good tidings in 2025 when he is due to defend his world 100m and 200m titles.

Lyles had a mixed 2024 season when he won his first Olympics gold, the 100m title, but missed out on the 200m title after managing bronze in a race considered his specialty.

Whether the new hairstyle is his lucky charm is something his fans will have to wait and see.
