Track and Field's most controversial and fastest man in the world Noah Lyles said he's ending his incredible 2023 season.

Triple world champion Noah Lyles has ended his impeccable 2023 season, with his last race being at the Zurich Diamond League.

Lyles won iconic triple gold medals at the World Championships in Budapest, making him the most valuable male athlete in the track events.

In the 100m, he blazed to a brilliant Personal Best (PB) and world-leading time of 9.83s to win his first world title in the event, defeating surprised silver medallist Botswana's Letsile Tebogo and Great Britain's Zharnel Hughes.

While in his trademark event - the 200m, Lyles dominated the field to become a two-time world champion and remain undefeated since 2021.

Finally, in the men's 4x100m, the American track star accomplished his mission of winning three gold medals, anchoring Team USA to a world-leading time of 37.38s for the men's gold medal.

His awe-inspiring made him the first American to win three gold medals at a World Championships since Tyson Gay and Allyson Felix in 2007.

This season in the Diamond League, Lyles competed in just two cities (London and Zurich), and winning both earned him a spot in the final leg in Oregon in two weeks. But having ended his season, this means he has passed on winning the trophy.

Meanwhile, in the indoor season, the 26-year-old competed in a few 60m races, but his best was winning the New Balance Grand Prix in a PB of 6.51s, defeating a specialist in the event Trayvon Bromell.

Aside from being a star on the track, Lyles has also been the most controversial and talked about athlete off-track. Three significant mentions are his jabs with Bromell declaring the 60m his house, his fashion drips, and his shade at the National Basketball Association (NBA) calling the winners of the NBA title world champions.
