Josephus Lyles has opened up about mental health struggles months after brother Noah Lyles shared struggles with anxiety and depression.
The brother duo of Noah Lyles and Josephus Lyles share more than just the track with the younger brother's recent revelation.
The 26-year old recently opened up about his mental health struggles months after his older Olympian brother also revealed struggling with the same.
“I was having a very hard time actually transferring my practice to the track. Even though I was running great in practice. I wasn’t seeing it on track.” Josephus Lyles told Andre Chapman Jr, host of Chatting With Chapman.
“So I started working with the mental coach,” he added.
The track and field athlete explained that his performance started improving almost immediately after seeking the needful assistance.

Olympics 100m champion Noah Lyles received yet another honour in his hometown of Alexandria when a new beer brand was named after him by a local brewery.
"I started practicing mindfulness and that’s probably helped me like a ton, because I feel like I’m a pretty anxious person. In terms of racing, I feel like it allowed me to, like run more free,” he said.
His revelation embodies that of older Olympian brother who admitted to also struggling with mental health some time back.

The Olympic bronze medalist is enjoying her off-season after victory at the Athlos and an amazing season campaign.
"I have Asthma, allergies, dyslexia, ADD, anxiety, and Depression. But I will tell you that what you have does not define what you can become. Why Not You!" He revealed in a tweet back in August as he opened up about overcoming his struggles.
The brothers who share in their mental health struggles and victories will hope to share the track soon in a major competition.
