Noah Lyles returns to Atlanta City Games targeting Usain Bolt's 150m record amidst a star-studded track and field event.

Six-time world champion Noah Lyles and fellow world champion Grant Holloway are set to electrify the Atlanta City Games, as confirmed by the organizers on Wednesday.

Lyles returns to Atlanta on the heels of a phenomenal 2023 season, marking him as the first man to clinch world titles at 100m, 200m, and in the 4x100m relay since 2015.

With a clocking of 14.56 seconds in last year's event, Lyles positioned himself amongst the greats, trailing only behind luminaries Usain Bolt and Tyson Gay in the all-time 150m records.

“This is timely and we look forward to the continued growth and success of the sport," Lyles said as per Essentially Sports.

Grant Holloway, the reigning champion in the men's 110m hurdles, is also returning, fresh from an indoor season that saw him undefeated in the 60m hurdles for the ninth consecutive winter.

In addition to these titans of track, Anna Hall, a versatile talent known for her multi-event prowess, will be competing in both the 100m hurdles and long jump.

Hall, coming off a stellar season herself, adds depth and excitement to an already star-studded lineup, promising a day of unforgettable performances.

The Atlanta City Games is not just a showcase of established talents but also a platform for the next generation.

With a High School Invitational and the Atlanta City Games - Youth, young athletes are given a rare chance to shine on the same stage as their professional idols, setting the scene for the future of athletics.
