Jamaican quarter-miler Junelle Bromfield has once again captured the spotlight, this time with a stunning display of confidence and style.

The 26-year-old sprinter recently turned heads while flaunting a sleek silver bikini and her trendy new hairstyle during a sun-soaked day at Miami Beach, Florida.

Bromfield, who represented Jamaica in the 400m event at the 2024 Paris Olympics, shared her vibrant look with her fans on social media.

Accompanied by the caption "Naturally !!," her photos showcased her long, flowing tresses and a minimal, yet eye-catching ensemble, proving that her fashion sense is as fierce as her athletic prowess.

While Bromfield continues to make waves off the track, she recently opened up about the emotional challenges she faced before and during the Paris Games.

In a candid interview with Sim Soul Session, she revealed the life-threatening messages she received from individuals in her home country.

“I mean during the Olympics and even before, like I had to turn off my inbox because I was getting dead shot from people,” Bromfield shared.

“I had Jamaicans in my inbox saying that they wish my foot gets broken when I'm running at the Olympics and if I come home, they're going to basically kill me."

Despite the outpouring of threats, Bromfield remained focused on her performance in Paris, clocking a time of 51.93 seconds in the semifinals of the 400m event.

Unfortunately, her efforts were not enough to secure a spot in the final, as she finished eighth in her heat.

However, Bromfield's determination and resilience were evident, reflecting the strength she has always demonstrated both on and off the track.

Her relationship with American track star Noah Lyles has also brought her into the limelight.

Lyles, who secured two medals for Team USA at the Paris Olympics, has been a strong support system for Bromfield.

The couple, who first met in 2017, confirmed their relationship in August 2022.

Since then, they have made several high-profile appearances together, including at New York Fashion Week, where they walked the runway for a Steve Aoki and One Piece collaboration.

The pair’s appearances did not stop at Fashion Week. In 2024, they also made a joint showing at the US Open Championships, where their strong bond was on full display.

Lyles, who has consistently expressed admiration for Bromfield’s strength and resilience, has been a pillar for her during difficult times, including the emotional toll she endured from the threatening messages.

The Jamaican sprinter, who was part of the bronze-winning 4x400m relay team at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics, admitted that the intensity of the threats made her feel unsafe in her own country.

“I didn’t feel like it was the right time, even though I wanted to go back to see my family, to go home," she said, expressing her deep concern for her safety.

Despite the challenges Bromfield continues to shine both in her athletic career and her personal life.
