Noah Lyles’ girlfriend Junelle Bromfield has disclosed what her exit from the Paris Olympic Games has taught her as she eyes greater milestones in upcoming seasons.
Bromfield qualified for her first individual event at the Olympic Games after finishing third at the Jamaican Olympic trials. Bromfield also secured a spot in the mixed relay.
Starting her Olympic campaign, the Jamaican track queen competed in the mixed relay, where Team Jamaica finished fourth in the first round and finished fifth in the final, missing out on a podium place in the race.

Noah Lyles and his mother Keisha Caine have reacted to Junelle Bromfield's dismal performance in the women's 400m semis to miss out on a slot in the final at the Paris Olympics.
In her event, the 400m, Bromfield finished third in the first round before her eighth-place finish in the semifinal to miss out on a slot in the final. She shared the key takeaway from the Paris Olympics after missing out on a medal bracket in all races.
“This year journey has taught me that I’m mentally and physically stronger than I thought I was ‼️” she said.
At the delayed 2020 Tokyo Olympic Games, Bromfield was in action in the mixed relay and the women’s 4x400m relay.
In the mixed relay, Bromfield anchored Team Jamaica to the silver medal while in the women’s relay, the quartet managed 3:21.24 for a bronze medal.
On his part, Lyles started his Olympic campaign on a high, finishing second in the men’s 100m first round and semifinal before stunning Kishane Thompson to win the men’s 100m Olympic title.
Lyles clocked a personal best time of 9.79 to win ahead of Thompson who clocked the same time, however, it was a few milliseconds slower. Fred Kerley completed the podium, clocking 9.81 to cross the finish line.
