Fred Kerley has reignited his rivalry with Noah Lyles, boldly claiming that the Olympic champion is not on his level.
The 2022 world 100m champion Fred Kerley has aimed a fresh dig at reigning Olympic 100m champion Noah Lyles as he explained why he always knew he was special.
Fred Kerley also slammed Netflix’s Sprint docuseries for making him look like a villain and labelled Noah Lyles as the hero.

Fred Kerley and Noah Lyles go way back and have been dissing each other since they began making waves on the global stage.
However, Fred Kerley has taken their beef a notch higher with claims that Noah Lyles could never get to his level despite being the Olympic champion, a title he holds with much prestige.

The Olympic 100m bronze medallist further revealed that Sprint’s crew followed him throughout the season but did not showcase what he thought they would to the audience.
Fred Kerley explained that he was not afraid to share his thoughts at any point but the directors wanted to push another narrative and make Noah Lyles the star of the show.
“If they actually put everything in the videos…I talk, that’s not their reality on TV, I definitely talk and would not stop talking s**t,” Fred Kerley shared.

“I did what people do in a lifetime in three months. I won a silver medal, people take a lifetime to do that, I ran 9.7 seconds, people take a lifetime to do that. I did that in three months in a year. I became the world champion in a year and a half and people ain’t been on my level. I’m more than special.”
Fred Kerley has already kickstarted his 2025 season, competing at the Trojan Invite where he won the race before extending his winning streak to the Clyde Littlefield Texas Relays presented by Truist. He finished a distant seventh in the men’s 100m at the first leg of the Grand Slam Track in Kingston, Jamaica.
