Tara Davis-Woodhall has shared a heartfelt and humorous moment with husband Hunter, blending Olympic grit with everyday joy.

Olympics long jump champion Tara Davis-Woodhall has left fans in stitches with her latest playful exchange with husband Hunter Woodhall.

The couple, who recently relocated to Kansas after their historic gold-medal victories at the 2024 Paris Olympics and Paralympics, shared a lighthearted moment that perfectly captured their relationship dynamic.

In a video posted on Instagram, Tara Davis-Woodhall used every excuse in the book to avoid hitting the gym, where Hunter Woodhall, her Paralympian husband, was eager to resume their lifting routine.

Their banter quickly went viral, showcasing their humor and chemistry.

“You gotta lift,” Hunter Woodhall insisted as he stood outside their car, attempting to coax his wife into stepping out.

But the Olympic long jump gold medalist was having none of it, playfully responding, “No, I don’t want to. I’m in the driver’s seat.”

As the exchange continued, Tara hilariously cited Thanksgiving as a reason to skip the workout.

“I think it’s okay. It’s Thanksgiving,” she quipped with a cheeky smile.

Hunter, however, was not giving up that easily. “No, let’s go,” he urged, determined to get her into the gym.

Even the promise of coffee was not enough to convince her.

“I ran out of coffee,” she confessed, shaking her head when her husband proposed grabbing a cup after their workout.

Eventually, Tara appeared to relent, saying, “Might as well do it all,” but not before tricking Hunter into getting into the car.

The couple burst into laughter as Tara drove off, proving once again that their relationship is a blend of love, humor, and shared goals.

The playful banter comes as the couple adjusts to life in Kansas, where Tara has taken on a new role as assistant coach for Kansas State University's track and field team.

Their move follows a stellar year for both athletes: Tara claimed her first Olympic gold with a stunning 7.10m long jump, while Hunter secured his own gold in the 400m T62 event at the Paris Paralympics.

Their fans, already enamored by their down-to-earth personalities, were quick to praise the couple for sharing such relatable content.

“You two are literally the definition of relationship goals,” one follower commented.

While the gym debate brought plenty of laughs, it is clear that the Woodhalls are as driven in their personal lives as they are in their athletic pursuits.

The couple’s bond was also on full display during a recent collaboration between GQ and Bulgari, where Hunter modeled in a rodeo-inspired outfit.

Tara gushed about her husband on social media, calling him “the most perfect specimen on this planet.”

The pair celebrated their second wedding anniversary in October marking another milestone in their partnership.
