'Never forget where you came from' - Usain Bolt reminisces humble beginnings

Three-time Olympic 100m champion Usain Bolt reviewed his humble background after sharing photos of his hometown.

Success on the track and field is all that the fastest man alive, Usain Bolt, is associated with the entirety of his life.

The Jamaican is one man whose record will be remembered by many and the crazy times he recorded both in 100 and 200-meter races, leaves fans wondering who will try lower his records.

Bolt, winner of Olympic gold medals on eight occasions, retired in 2017 as an accomplished sprinter. Recently, the 38-year-old reflected on his journey and the hard yards he had to put in order to accomplish his medal-winning mission.

The three-time Olympic 100m champion recently posted some pictures of his hometown, Sherwood Content, on Instagram as a show of appreciation of his humble beginnings. The pictures were accompanied with the caption: “Them roots, they run deep. Never forget where you came from.”

The  pictures testify the down-to-earth demeanor of Bolt and the streets symbolise where the 11-time world champion's humble beginning started from.

Bolt is the most successful male athlete of the World Championships, the first athlete to win four global titles in the 200m. He boasts of three 100m titles and is the first person to run sub-9.7s and sub-9.6s races. His achievements as a sprinter have earned him the media nickname 'Lightning Bolt'.
