Ferdinand Omanyala has opened up about the one misconception he wants to get rid of as he rewrites the books of history when it comes to sprinting in East Africa.
Africa’s fastest man launched the Omanyala Foundation in 2022 and has been working around the clock to hit the ground running and touch the lives of as many sprinters as he can.
The Commonwealth Games champion revealed that he will not only be looking at talent but also the level of education of the athletes to get the scholarships.

“It will be more of nurturing talent because it’s a foundation and the main thing of the Omanyala Foundation is to develop sprinters. When I retire, I want to leave a couple of athletes behind so that the name continues to shine,” Ferdinand Omanyala added.
