Three-time Olympic champion Gabby Thomas has revealed her admiration for Kingston ahead of the April Grand Slam Track debut in Jamaica.
Kingston, the capital and largest city of Jamaica located on the Southeastern coast of the island, will host the inaugural edition of Michael Johnson's Grand Slam that is expected to revolutionize the sport.

Ahead of racing in Jamaica, Thomas, 28, who secured 200m gold at the Paris Olympic Games, made a surprising revelation as she discussed the venues of Michael Johnson's Grand Slam Track.

South African legend Benni McCarthy has reportedly decided on the men who will join his technical bench when he takes over as Harambee Stars coach.
Thomas who begun her professional track career in 2018, signed with Grand Slam Track late last year, and recently ranked the locations of the league. After ranking Jamaica, the Masters of Public Health degree holder proceeded to rank the remaining three locations.
“Second Miami, because I love Miami. Then Philly, because I love Franklin Field, it's near and dear to my heart, it's where I ran in college, and then we have LA. LA is cool.”
Pulse Sports previously reported how Gabby Thomas was excited to join the Grand Slam.
“I am so excited to be joining Grand Slam Track, and partnering with Michael Johnson to give our sport the platform it deserves. Coming off of the Olympics, I want to continue testing myself and competing at the highest level against the fastest women in the world. Grand Slam Track allows us that chance in 2025.”
Thomas was born in Georgia and raised in Massachusetts. She was inspired to run by Allyson Felix, saying that her first memory of track race was watching Felix while at her grandmother's house. In four years at her high school, Thomas set multiple school records and was most valuable player every year.
