Lilian Odira believes her partnership with reigning world champion Mary Moraa will yield god fruit at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games.
Odira explained that training with the Commonwealth Games champion has been life changing and she has been able to learn a lot. She added that there is a lot of unity among the athletes, something that will also help in coordination during the races.
The Africa 800m silver medallist explained that Moraa has taught her a lot and has been able to hold her hand during their training sessions.

Lilian Odira has opened up about the main motivation behind her pursuit for success in her debut at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games.
“There are so many things that I’m learning from her because she has the experience and I’m still learning and perfecting my experience. She is always there, we’ve been training together and we have that unity,” Odira said.

Mary Moraa has disclosed how she felt watching Athing Mu stumble at the U.S. Olympic trials and fail to make the women's 800m team.
After winning the Kenyan Olympic trials, the 25-year-old intends to impress in Paris, as she makes her debut at the Olympics in Paris, France.
“I think my body was responding well and I will strive hard to do my best. I’m focusing on my endurance and speed because 800m is a tactical race and you have to perfect every aspect,” she added.
Moraa and Odira will be joined by Vivian Chebet, the latest addition to the women’s 800m final team. Sarah Moraa was forced to withdraw after failing to attain the required time before the deadline.
