Warholm is coming off a second-place finish at the Paris Olympic Games and has not raced since then. This season, he has raced sparingly in the Diamond League Meetings with his first being the meeting in Oslo where he finished second.

The Norwegian proceeded to finish second at the Diamond League Meeting in Monaco before heading to the Paris Olympics where he lost his title to Rai Benjamin.

He now gears up for the 100m challenge against pole vault world record holder Mondo Duplantis at the Diamond League Meeting in Zurich.

On his part, Ducos missed a podium place in the men's 400m hurdles at the Olympic Games. He finished fourth in the race, behind Brazilian Alison Dos Santos. His second-place finish at the Diamond League is a huge confidence booster for him as he seeks a comeback in the Diamond League Meeting final.

Meanwhile, Samba finished sixth in the men's final at the Paris Olympic Games and has smartly bounced back to podium finishes. He has raced sparingly this season, being to two Diamond League Meetings before the Olympic Games.

He finished seventh at the Diamond League Meeting in Stockholm before failing to impress at the Diamond League Meeting in Monaco where he finished fifth.
