After a disastrous 2024 season, Athing Mu now has a reason to smile after saying 'Yes' to her fiancée as she shared the glamorous photos on her social media handles.

After a turbulent season, Athing Mu ended her season with a huge smile on her face after her fiancée, whose identity is yet to be disclosed, proposed to her name.

The former Olympic champion was over the moon as she gladly shared the photos of how things went down in a post on her Instagram page. The 22-year-old gladly said yes to her prince charming and celebrated after ending her season on a high.

In the photos shared on her Instagram, the first photo is of her fiancée going down on one knee and is seen putting a ring on her finger before she shares other photos.

The world 800m silver medallist was just opening her season at the event after postponing it due to a slight injury. She intended to compete at the Prefontaine Classic, going up against reigning world champion Mary Moraa and Olympic champion Keely Hodgkinson but missed due to the injury.

At the U.S. Olympic trials, the American was off to a great start with a third-place finish in the heats before winning the semifinal. She fell in the final and ended up finishing ninth.

After the heartbreak, Mu sought redemption at the Holloway Pro Classic but faded to finish fifth. She has yet to race since and will most likely return to the track next season.
