Jamaican youngsters Ackeem Blake and Oblique Seville will take on Great Britain’s fastest man in the men’s 200m at Velocity Fest 14 on Saturday, March 16.
The Jamaican duo will be hoping to stun the fastest man in the world in 2023 Zharnel Hughes who will be opening his season after enjoying a stellar 2023 season.

Seville, 22, opened his season with a win in the 400m race at the Camperdown Classics in Jamaica and he will be keen to continue the hot streak when he goes up against Hughes and his compatriot Blake.

Race organisers have announced the millions set aside for top 12 finishers at the New York City Half Marathon coming up this Sunday.

Meanwhile, Hughes, who ended his 2023 season as the fastest man in the world takes on those youngsters with a lot of courage.
He opened his outdoor season with a win in the 400m race at the S.W. Isaac Henry Invitational in Jamaica and he will also hope to build up well as he looks forward to the Olympic Games in Paris, France.
Meanwhile, joining the trio will be the likes of Antonio Watson, Brendon Rodney, Roshawn Clarke, Bouwahjgie Nkrumie, Rohan Watson, and Rusheen McDonald among other runners.
