Junelle Bromfield has shared a hilarious take on running, blending humor with resilience amid a season of challenges and triumphs.

Noah Lyles' fiancée Junelle Bromfield has a knack for blending humor with her passion for athletics.

The Jamaican sprinter, who competed at the 2024 Paris Olympics, recently gave fans a light-hearted glimpse into her thoughts about running sprints, reaffirming her status not just as a world-class athlete but also as a relatable and witty personality.

Reposting a viral video on her Instagram story, Bromfield echoed the sentiments of a young sprinter who hilariously described the feeling of running as "suffering."

The video, featuring track and field coach Kim Silverstein asking a child how she felt while running, struck a chord with Bromfield.

The young girl replied candidly, "This is like suffering, it makes me suffer. It makes me do (pants continuously)."

Sharing the clip, Bromfield added her own agreement with the young runner's humorous observation.

The Jamaican sprinter’s self-deprecating humor comes at the end of a season filled with achievements and challenges.

Bromfield qualified for the individual Olympic event for the first time at the 2024 Paris Games, advancing to the semifinals in the women’s 400m.

She also competed in the mixed 4x400m relay and the women’s 4x400m relay, representing Jamaica on the grand stage once again.

Despite finishing medalless in Paris, Bromfield has remained positive about her journey.

She credited the season with making her mentally and physically tougher, underscoring her gratitude for being part of the elite competition.

Reflecting on her career trajectory, the 2022 World Indoor Champion expressed pride in how far she has come, both as an athlete and as an individual.

Off the track, Bromfield has also been a source of resilience and inspiration, particularly in the face of online harassment.

Following the Paris Olympics, she faced a barrage of online hate and even death threats after her fiancé, Noah Lyles, revealed she had provided him with updates about his rival, Jamaican sprinter Kishane Thompson.

The situation sparked controversy, but Bromfield navigated it with grace, supported by Lyles.

In a heartfelt Instagram post, the Olympic gold medalist defended Bromfield and expressed admiration for her strength.

"I just want to say how incredibly proud I am of my GF and give her the flowers she deserves now 💐,” Lyles wrote.

“She has been through so much in her life that I could never imagine fighting through. Beyond that, she is a survivor, 2x Olympian, Olympic medalist, multi-world championship medalist, and has been representing Jamaica on the world stage since she was 8 years old.”

Lyles also highlighted how Bromfield has endured criticism from her own country with unwavering resilience.

“This woman has been attacked by people who have never met her, heard her name before, never seen her smile, or heard what she believes in. But she keeps moving forward knowing that God will always make a way. That’s why God keeps blessing her!” he added.

The couple’s relationship, which blossomed after years of friendship, has been a testament to mutual respect and love.

Meeting for the first time in 2017, they reconnected and began dating in 2022, eventually getting engaged in October 2024.

Their shared experiences as elite athletes and their unwavering support for each other have made them a power couple in the world of athletics.
