Tara Davis-Woodhall reveals new year's resolution as she opens up on therapy journey
Olympic champion Tara Davis-Woodhall is looking within for her new year's resolution, inpird by her therapy journey.
"I have a patience of zero," Davis-Woodhall admitted candidly. "If my patience is at zero and he doesn’t see that, I’m instant. Like, instant. I’m trying to work on it because it’s not healthy, obviously. That’s how we balance.”
Hunter, a Paralympic medalist, was described by his wife as “ridiculously patient” to the point where his optimism occasionally drives her to frustration.
“He’s so patient, it’s ridiculous,” she said. “Sometimes I’m like, ‘That optimism is going to get you in trouble.’”
Hunter acknowledged this dynamic, saying, “Facts, and then something bad will happen, or somebody will treat us bad, and I’m always like, ‘No, it’s all good. Don’t worry about it.’ And she’ll crash out.”
Tara didn’t hold back when describing how protective she becomes over Hunter, stating, “I will crash out so hard if someone walks over Hunter. Obviously, he’s my man. He’ll be like, ‘It’s fine. They’re just probably having a bad day or something.’”
The couple also shared a memorable moment from their first date that tested Tara’s patience.
Dining at a pizza restaurant, they waited an excruciating hour and a half for their order to arrive, far beyond her usual tolerance.
“I’m the type of person who would say, ‘Can I speak to the manager, please?’ I’m that person, unfortunately,” Tara revealed.
“But I saved it for this first date. I held my tongue. I didn’t allow it to come out. And I told him afterward, ‘You know how hard it was for me not to freak out.’”
