Olympics 100m champion Noah Lyles has given a strong indication that he could race against NFL star Tyreek Hill after explaining the setting and occasion that he feels would make it ideal.
Olympics 100m champion Noah Lyles has given a hint on when his highly-awaited showdown with NFL star Tyreek Hill could actually take place.
While on the Beyond The Records podcast with fellow Olympics champions Grant Holloway and Rai Benjamin, the three discussed the possibility of track stars racing against NFL players akin to what was recently witnessed between veteran boxer Mike Tyson and Jake Paul.
They agreed the NFL's 2025 Pro Bowl Games would be the ideal place, which could potentially set up Lyles and Hill, while Holloway expressed an interest in racing NFL wide receiver DK Metcalf.

Noah Lyles reveals how he used IShowSpeed race to build anticipation for showdown with NFL star Tyreek Hill
A showdown beetween Olympic champion Noah Lyles and NFL speedster Tyreek Hill has been brewing for months and the sprinter has hinted at when it could possibly happen.
"Grant, would you race DK Metcalf?" Lyles asked. "Would you take him in a 40 [yard dash]?"
"Of course," Holloway replied, adding: "DK, you probably don't know me, I'm a huge fan. You're on my fantasy team, so keep doing your thing.
"But hey, let's do it man. If Noah's gonna do Tyreek... look, I'll take the undercard with you. I think it'd be good."
Benjamin then gave an idea of where the races should take place.
"I feel like it would be good to do it at the All-Star Weekend," said the Olympics 400m hurdles champion.
"I'm already giving too much information," a smiling Lyles said. "The best I can say is, it'd be very Mike Tyson-Jake Paul type."
"It'd be cool to do a cross-over at the Pro Bowl," Benjamin weighed in, adding: "If you're listening, NFL execs, track cross-over at the Pro Bowl."
In what could be a coincidence, Lyles would not need to travel for long if such a move happens, as the 2025 Pro Bowl Games will take place in February in Orlando, Florida, where he lives.
Whether it will be fulfilled is something fans will have to wait and see, especially after Lyles previously had reservations about racing Hill, insisting it must be an 100m race with millions of dollars at stake before he could accept a challenge.
