Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce and Dina Asher-Smith have put the Olympic Games setback behind them to stun in a British Vogue shoot.
Fraser-Pryce was competing in her final Olympic Games in Paris and was hoping for a better outing but unfortunately, things did not go as planned. The three-time Olympic champion pulled out of the women’s 100m semifinal a few minutes before the race.
She cruised smoothly to the semis after finishing second behind Africa’s fastest woman Marie Josee Ta Lou-Smith in the women’s first round. Fraser-Pryce also pulled out of the women’s 4x100m relay.

On her part, Asher-Smith failed to make an impact in both the women’s 100m and 200m. In the women’s 100m, the British runner finished fifth in the semifinal and failed to proceed to the final.
Asher-Smith finished second in the women’s 200m semifinal to proceed to the final where she failed to make an impact. The 28-year-old finished fourth in the final. She bounced back to aid Team Britain win a silver medal in the women’s 4x100m relay won by Team USA.
