The Big 3: Kenny Bednarek's message to Noah Lyles and Letsile Tebogo on legendary track dream
With his 2024 season's exploits now ranking him high on the men's 200m all-time list, Kenny Bednarek is not resting on his oars sending a legendary message to his staunch rivals Noah Lyles and Letsile Tebogo.
“I’m feeling great. I mean, no stress at all. The hard part of the season is done, which was the Olympics, and now I’m just, you know, having fun and aiming for another Diamond League trophy,” said Bednarek in a recent of Road to Gold on his YouTube channel.
“I only have one, so I’m trying to add two to my trophy cabinet. I’m just in a flow state not taking it too seriously because I know what I’m capable of. I just need to execute my race, and I should be good.”
One of Bednarek’s key goals for 2025 is securing more Diamond League titles, adding to the single trophy he currently holds.
Bednarek ran a fine race in the men's 200m race at the Diamond League Final in Brussels edging Letsile Tebogo to avenge his Paris loss to the Botswana sprinter.
In addition to the Diamond League, Bednarek is gearing up for the inaugural 2025 Grand Slam Track League.
