Tara Davis-Woodhall has outlined how life has changed since they became famous, outlining the good and the bad.

Tara Davis-Woodhall and Hunter Woodhall rose to fame in the 2024 season and the Olympic long jump champion believes that it is where they belong, however, admitting that the journey has not been easy.

Their fame came after their lovely moment at the Paris Olympic Games where Tara went on to claim a gold medal in the women’s long jump.

Their affection toward each other and how Hunter supported his wife undoubtedly stole the show and made headlines, making the couple a sweetheart to the fans.

Tara, in an interview with SELF, revealed that there are times things get overwhelming but having her husband Hunter around has helped them go through things they thought would end them.

She further noted that their agents have been very understanding and they always try hard enough to avoid overstepping. The reigning world indoor champion pointed out that they have found creative ways in dealing with such struggles and as of now, everything is on course.

“Hunter and I, we’re built for this, I think…. It’s weird. I am stressed sometimes. It is a lot. But it’s not a lot where we can’t handle it. We are so vocal, and we have our boundaries, and we’ve set them, and our agents are our support, they know our boundaries,” Tara Davis-Woodhall shared.

“When we need a break, they give us one. We’re so in tune with our mental health right now and so in tune with our well-being, and our team is too. So, we’ve learned how to balance it all.”

She added that her husband has been very instrumental in her life and when she cannot access her therapist, then Hunter Woodhall steps in as one.

Tara disclosed that the vice versa also applies when her husband is not in the best mood, she tries cheering him up and making sure he gets better before they get into something else if it’s training or watching a movie.

The world long jump silver medallist explained that having someone to accompany her to her meets and training is a blessing and revealed that they have a come a long way to get to the point they are in right now.

“Oh yeah, he’s my venting person, whatever I gotta say, he gets to hear it. He’s like my in-home therapist when I can’t talk to my actual therapist. He just makes everything better. Even going to these events, I could not imagine going to them alone,” Tara Davis-Woodhall added.

“It’s like, we get to experience this whole new world together, going from when we were little babies, doing long-distance and trying to make it work, to then doing all these cool things and living so many of our talked-about dreams.

“We really do lean on each other mentally. If I’m not good, he’s good, and he’s going to try to help me get good, and vice versa.”

Tara Davis-Woodhall and her husband Hunter Woodhall now shift focus to the 2025 season that has a series of events lined up. Their main goal will be to light up events with exhilarating performances while also growing their fan base.
