Elaine Thompson-Herah made a stunning appearance at a Miami charity event, supporting Caribbean talent, as she looks to recover from injury and find a new coach ahead of the 2025 season.
Elaine Thompson-Herah made her first public appearance on Friday night, gracing a charity fundraiser in Miami.
The five-time Olympic champion could not hide her impeccable taste in fashion as she looked stunning in her sizzling black dress styled with black heels and a golden purse.
Her dress code was perfect for the venue of the event which took place on the dockside at the exquisite Seafair Luxury Yacht in Miami’s chic Brickell district.
The event aimed at raising funds to support Caribbean talents through the Cable and Wireless Charitable Foundation. After the event, Elaine Thompson-Herah shared a series of photos on her Instagram handle and fans could not help but shower her with lovely comments.
“I’m so full of myself, I never think about y’all 😌,” Elaine Thompson-Herah captioned her photos.
Thompson-Herah has not had an easy 2024 season as she was forced to withdraw from the Paris Olympic Games due to an Achilles injury. She was the defending champion in the 100m and 200m but had to end her title defence hopes.
She suffered the injury at the New York Grand Prix in early June. The Jamaican sprint queen has also made coaching developments, parting ways with her coach Reynaldo Walcott as she looks to get her career back on track ahead of the 2025 season.
As she heads into the 2025 season, she will be hoping to impress at the World Championships in Tokyo, Japan but first things first, she has to look for a coach. Several reports have claimed that she is considering a return to MVP Trak Club where she trained between 2016 and 2021.
