Oblique Seville has assured Jamaican fans after his arrival in Paris, France for the Olympic Games where he will be in action in the men’s 100m and 4x100m relay.
The Jamaican wunderkind landed in Jamaica alongside his compatriots and from a video shared by TVJ News center, Seville was in high spirits and exuded confidence in readiness to deliver ahead of the task ahead.
Jamaica’s 800m star Natoya Goule-Toppin was also in the video, depicting a happy mood ahead of the clash that awaits her against Mary Moraa and Keely Hodgkinson among other stars.

Seville was going into the trials confident after beating Noah Lyles at the Racers Grand Prix, where he stopped the clock at 9.82 ahead of Lyles who clocked 9.83. In the 200m, Seville has raced sparingly, winning the race at the Velocity Fest 14 before also reigning supreme in the 400m at the Camperdown Classics.
Seville returns to the Olympic Games after a fourth-place finish in the semifinal of the delayed 2020 Tokyo Olympic Games. His time could not take him to the final of the 100m. Seville was also part of the relay team that finished fourth at the Olympic Games.
The Jamaican sprint sensation has gained experience over time and will be out to continue where he left from. He faces a stern test from Kenya’s Ferdinand Omanyala, the fastest American this year Noah Lyles and defending champion Marcel Jacobs. In his conquest, he will be joined by compatriots Thompson and Ackeem Blake.
