Bolt, the greatest sprinter of all time, had a nose for glory in 100m and 200m and was always confident and knew when he was going to break a record in his specialty.

'All I wanted to do was just to beat him’ – How Tyson Gay made Usain Bolt 'accidentally' set the 100 meter world record
Bolt was fired up to beat his rival Tyson Gay but he was not gold for the world record
His response was necessary because he previously said he once broke the world record in 100m without even trying, “It was when I almost made it all the way back around and the announcer kind of announced that I broke the record, that's when I knew,” the 11-time world champion revealed.
Bolt broke several 100m records, including the world record and the Olympic record. On August 16, 2009, Bolt set the men's 100m world record with a time of 9.58 seconds at the World Athletics Championships in Berlin, Germany.

'It's not something I want'- Why Shericka Jackson is reluctant to accept 'sprint queen' title even as Usain Bolt dubs her Jamaica's best prospect
Jamaican sprint sensation Shericka Jackson has mixed feelings about the expectations placed on her by Jamaicans and even sprinting greats like Usain Bolt.
Bolt first set the men's 100m Olympic record at the 2008 Beijing Olympics with a time of 9.69 seconds. He then improved his own record by 0.06 seconds at the 2012 London Olympics. The three-time Olympic 200m champion also set the World and 200m records simultaneously.
At the 2008 Beijing Olympics, Bolt became the first sprinter since 1976 to hold both the 100m and 200m world records at the same time. Bolt is considered one of the greatest athletes in the world, and his 100m record is expected to stand for many years.
Bolt retired from athletics in 2017, but he he believes the 100m record will be harder to break than the 200m record because it's quicker and more technical.
