Gabby Thomas has disclosed the major thing she loves engaging in to stay grounded in her track career.
Reigning Olympic 200m champion Gabby Thomas has opened up about the one thing that has helped her stay grounded in the world of track and field.
Apart from being a sprinter, Gabby Thomas is also a scholar, holding a Masters Degree from Harvard University, as well as volunteering at a clinic in Texas from time to time. Her skills volunteering have even earned high praise from Volunteer Healthcare Clinic executive director Marci Roe.
Roe noted that Gabby Thomas has showcased her passion to serve and she does not do that to boost her public reputation but she is just a kind-hearted person.

Gabby Thomas believes Shericka Jackson has a better shot at shattering the 200m world record.
“Gabby is very dedicated. She cares deeply about helping others. She has the education in public health and wants to put it to good use,” Roe said in an interview with the Time.
On her part, Gabby Thomas disclosed that she finds love in serving people and studying and that’s how she has been able to maintain her track and field career too.
The world 200m bronze medallist has been consistent in her career, with her recent feat being at the Paris Olympic Games where she scooped three Olympic gold medals.
The world 4x100m gold medallist started her campaign with the 200m gold medal before proceeding to claim the 4x100m and 4x400m relay gold medals.
Thomas was also part of the organising committee that planned Alexis Ohanian’s women-only event where she finished second in the 200m behind Olympic bronze medallist Brittany Brown.
“I found the beauty in it. I found a love in it. I just love chasing goals. I love chasing my dreams. I love moments like this, where everything kind of comes together,” Thomas said.
