Tokyo Olympic 100mH champion Jasmine Camacho-Quinn appreciates her performances this year despite Olympic heartbreak but looks forward to a better 2025.

Paris Olympic 100m hurdles bronze medalist Jasmine Camacho Quinn believes the Athlos women's-only athletics meet will elevate the competitive nature of the sport.

With the event expected to become an annual celebration, the Tokyo Olympic champion added that the Athlos provides the platform for women to showcase their talents especially after the track and field season.

“It’s only women - we’re able to put on a show,” Camacho-Quinn told the Independent. The Puerto Rican who is a two-time NCAA Division I champion also took to her Instagram account to highlight how the 2024 season was such a blessing.

"I don't even have a long post about this season. I'm alive. I'm blessed. I'm grateful...... @athlos was such a beautiful event. It turned out way better than I even imagined. Thank you for the opportunity and bringing all the women together. ...I am your 2020 Olympic gold medalist in the 100H," she reiterated.

"A real consistent year but that breakthrough will come soon. I just go out there and do what I have to do. As athletes, we need to have more time to take care of ourselves and put ourselves above everything else," she previously said.

The Athlos, the brainchild of Alexis Ohanian, husband to former tennis Serena Williams intends to help build the women's sports world and to highlight the potential of women's athletics.

He also thinks women's sports is undervalued and that they can be optimized for the digital age without the traditions that govern men's sports and that athletes are the stars and that they need a platform to highlight their stories.
