ATHLETICS Faith Kipyegon hands super fan special gift after World Championships exploits
The fan insists Kipyegon gave him the gift “as a token of appreciation for the support over the years” after watching her run in person numerous times.
That was after breaking the 1,500m, the mile, and 5,000m world records in June and July but she feels there is still much more from where that came from.
"Starting with three world records was an amazing thing in my life. I have seen my life change step by step," Kipyegon said after returning to the country from Budapest on Monday night.
"I was not expecting to break three world records and after that, two gold medals in the World Championship.
"This is a big motivation, I still want to push myself to empower young girls out there to know that everything is possible in life."
