Achilles injury, which barred her from defending her titles at the Paris 2024 Olympics, marked a difficult chapter in her illustrious career.
As she faces an uncertain path forward, the support she witnessed at the gala was, in her own words, both “an honor and a privilege.”
“Nevertheless, attending this vibrant and stunning event, hosted on Seafair Luxury Yacht in support of bringing reliable internet access to thousands of low-income families and also supporting the Caribbean, it is always an honor to be a part of the Flow family, representing and showing my support and love in every aspect necessary,” she continued, acknowledging her sponsors, Flow and the CW Charitable Foundation, for their partnership in community development.
Despite the setback of her Achilles injury, Thompson-Herah remains determined to recover and return to the track.
At 32, she still holds her record as the only woman in history to secure back-to-back Olympic golds in both the 100m and 200m events.
