The High Schooler has expressed interest in qualifying for the Paris 2024 Olympic Games and hopefully even win the race at the US Olympic trials.

High Schooler Christian Miller has plans to silence Noah Lyles, Fred Kerley, Christian Coleman and other sprinters at the USATF Olympic trials starting Friday, June 21.

Miller has been making headlines with his scintillating runs and as he heads to the Olympic trials, he has already fired a stark warning to his competitors as he looks to make the cut to the Olympic team.

The 18-year-old has proven to be in majestic form, with his last race before the trials being the New Balance Nationals Outdoors where he clocked 9.95 in the semifinal but failing to show up in the final to conserve energy for the titanic encounter against his seniors.

Miller believes in his ability to make the Olympic team and he plans to maintain a strong mindset as he plans to toe the track at the Hayward Field.

“That has put me in a very good position going into the trials so I know that I have it in my head to get into the top spot, that’s definitely a possibility so I’ll always keep it in my head that I have a chance of going out there and competing in the top three if not winning that event. I have to keep that mindset because it allows me to go out there and do my best,” the youngster said in an interview with Citius Mag.

The American wunderkind explained that if he manages to beat any of his mentors, he will still remain humble. However, he explained that it will give hope to other youngsters that anything is possible in the world of track and field.

“Of course, I always have to remain humble because I know that God can take away that blessing at any time. If I get to that point I’ll know that it’s a humongous milestone that I’ve hit not just as a Florida athlete but as an 18-year-old and just coming straight from High School sets the bar for everybody,” he added.
