Noah Lyles has offered to train IShowSpeed, only if he would agree to put his streaming career on a halt and change a few things about his lifestyle.

IShowSpeed might be going to the US Olympic trials ahead of the LA 2028 Olympic Games but he has to make a few changes in his lifestyle.

Noah Lyles expressed his willingness to help the youngster make it to the trials after he expressed interest in racing at the LA 2028 Olympic Games in a past interview.

Speaking on the Beyond the Records podcast, the reigning Olympic champion revealed that IShowSpeed would have to pause his streaming career for a while and invest time in training.

Lyles pointed out that he should be ready to lose a lot since training for such events is not a walk in the park and many American athletes have attested that the trials are always like the Olympic Games themselves.

“I went to Complex and he was just there saying he would run the 100m and 50m at the Olympics, well, there is no 50m but we’ll see how you get there. He went on to claim that it’s an amateur sport and anyone can do it, they only need the time to go and participate,” Noah Lyles said.

“I think that we could potentially get him to the trials for sure he would definitely have to sacrifice a lot though. Like a lot of time he probably has for streaming and his way of living, he’s going to be so strict.”

Lyles also gave a breakdown of how training sessions would go on if he were to train the online sensation.

The three-time world 200m champion added that the weight room would probably be his worst workout routine but he will have to work on that too.

“We are going to be constantly like going to be putting him in positions where he is going to lose a lot,” Lyles said.

“He would have to train from 9 to 11 and then I’ll probably let him have lunch and then he would do the weight room, the thing that hits hard. It’s really the weight room that throws everybody off.”

The Olympic 200m bronze medallist further noted that having huge personalities like IShowSpeed engaging in track and field activities is a huge boost for the sport.

He urged people not to hate the youngster since he would bring visibility to the sport. “This is a guy who has a ton of following and he is going to bring that into the sport.”
