Reigning Olympic champion Noah Lyles is wary of his haters and will not be revealing all his plans ahead of next season.

Triple world champion Noah Lyles has hinted about why he will not be spilling all his ambitious plans ahead of next season.

In a TikTok video shared on his X handle, the person insists that he will not be out to give details about the things he wants to achieve since the haters will be out to sabotage him.

The American sprint king posted the video with no caption, seemingly sending a message to his fans and haters on why he will be laid back as he gears up for next season.

“I’m telling you now, I have plans that I can’t share with you right now because the haters will sabotage me. I have plans that I can’t share with you right now because the haters will sabotage me. I have plans that I will not share right now because the haters will sabotage me,” the person in the video said.

The three-time world 200m champion has always been vocal about his plans before the season starts or in the early stages of the season but he is changing that. As the 2024 season began, Lyles had expressed confidence in winning four Olympic medals and hopefully shattering Usain Bolt’s 200m world record.

He wanted to compete in the men’s 100m and 200m and claim top honours and the men’s 4x100m and 4x400m relay events. However, he only claimed a gold medal in the men’s 100m, beating Kishane Thompson by milliseconds since they both clocked 9.78 seconds to cross the finish line.

Before the men’s 200m, Lyles tested positive for COVID-19 and could not show up in his healthiest form, forcing him to settle for third place behind Letsile Tebogo and Kenny Bednarek. The American men’s 4x100m relay team was disqualified for breaching baton exchange rules but Lyles did not compete in the race altogether. He also missed a slot in the men’s 4x400m relay.

After the Paris Olympic Games, Lyles ended his season and went on media tours and a vacation with his girlfriend Julien Bromfield. Next season, he looks to defend his titles at the 2025 World Championships in Tokyo, Japan but has yet to disclose what he wants to achieve.
