Sharks sold the 18-year-old midfielder to 2018 Swedish champions AIK for a big sum.
His performance during the club’s pre-season training camp in Spain impressed the AIK coaches so much that they quickly moved to secure his services for a reported fee of USD 200,000 (approx. Ksh 25.8 million).

Wilson's journey has not been without its challenges. Reflecting on his trial period, he candidly spoke about the difficulties he faced adapting to the harsh European winter—a far cry from the more temperate climate of Kenya.
“Adapting to the European weather was one of the biggest challenges. The harsh winter conditions were a major adjustment. It was tough, but with the right guidance and proper gear, I managed to adapt. I focused entirely on my training and avoided going out in the extreme cold. It was a crucial period where every detail mattered,” the teenager explained.
Despite these challenges, Wilson remains undeterred. His experience during the trials has only strengthened his resolve as he prepares to contribute to AIK’s success.
