Noah Lyles sparks controversy, dismissing the 200m’s importance, favoring the 100m as the ultimate sprinting achievement.
Felix's heartfelt note, posted alongside a series of photos chronicling Camryn's life, detailed her love and gratitude for her daughter.
Born on November 29, 2018, Camryn overcame significant health challenges at birth, becoming a source of inspiration for Felix both on and off the track.
"Happy 6th Birthday to my Cammy! You are truly a blessing from God, and I thank Him every day for the gift of being your mom," Felix began her touching post.
"You are smart, independent, creative, strong-willed, silly, thoughtful, and so sweet! You changed my world forever in the best way, and my love for you is endless."
Camryn's arrival in 2018 was marked by adversity. Felix, then a dominant force in track and field, was diagnosed with pre-eclampsia at 32 weeks pregnant.
The condition, which disproportionately affects African-American women, required an emergency C-section within 48 hours of diagnosis. Camryn’s heart rate dropped after birth, necessitating a month-long stay in the neonatal intensive care unit.
Recalling the experience, Felix has often highlighted the challenges Black women face in maternal healthcare.
Her personal ordeal motivated her to become a leading advocate for systemic improvements.

Speaking about her experience, Felix emphasized the importance of improving healthcare outcomes.
