During the women’s 200m final race, Neita finished fifth in a Personal Best time of 22.16. The race was won by Jackson in a championship record time of 21.41.

Sha'Carri Richardson opened up on her healthy relationship with most of her track rivals, especially with the Jamaican duo of Shericka Jackson and Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce.
The time she posted was also the second-fastest time. The late Florence Joyner holds the fastest time over the 200m, 21.34, a time that she set during the 1988 Seoul Olympics.
“She’s amazing and is absolutely incredible. I got to the finish line and I said to her, ‘Teach me please,’ and she literally just laughed.
It’s so amazing to be a part of these races and racing against phenomenal women. It shows me that I’m also capable of doing great things one day if I keep the focus…I’m inspired,” Neita explained.
