Gabby Thomas reveals one major thing that has contributed to her success

The three-time Olympic champion has opened up about the main thing that has contributed to her never-ending success especially this season when she dominated the Paris Olympic Games.

Three-time Olympic champion Gabby Thomas has opened up about where her success stems from and urged her fans to follow her footsteps if they intend to achieve huge milestones.

In a post on her X handle, the world 200m bronze medallist noted that education is what has gotten her to the level she is. She pointed out that being interested in reading books has enabled her to stay in the loop and achieve her dreams.

Thomas is undoubtedly one of the most educated athletes, having graduated from Harvard University with a degree in neurobiology and global health in 2019. After her graduation she acquired her Master's Degree in epidemiology at the University of Texas Health Science Center in Houston.

“I always say education has been my foundation for success- it opens doors and empowers us to chase our dreams. Stay curious, stay driven, and never stop learning!!” Thomas said.

Thomas has enjoyed an amazing 2024 season, starting with her campaign from the indoor races. She won the 300m at the New Balance Indoor Grand Prix before beginning her outdoor campaign.

She was a vital part of the women’s 4x100m relay race that claimed a gold medal at the World Athletics Relays. Thomas then finished sixth in the women’s 200m at the USATF Los Angeles Grand Prix and fourth in the 100m.

Thomas then proceeded to claim the 200m title at the USATF New York City Grand Prix before finishing fourth in the women’s 100m. She competed at the U.S. Olympic trials, winning the 200m and proceeded to claim top honours at the Diamond League Meeting in London.

She had an amazing run at the Paris Olympic Games, winning the women’s 200m title before being a vital part of Team USA as they won the 4x100m and 4x400m relay titles. After the Olympics, she has been doing media rounds and has not raced since then.
