USA's media sweetheart Gabby Thomas has planned to make a return to her Jamaican roots as she reveals her plans for the Caribbean country.
Gabby Thomas will make a return to her Jamaican roots by running a race in Kingston, and perhaps having her vacation there after the Olympics.
Thomas was born to an African-American mother Jennifer Randall, and a Jamaican father Desmond Thomas, represents the USA internationally, but has always been proud of her Caribbean heritage, and she never fails to admit her love for the country.
"I do want to visit Jamaica. They have a meet in Kingston this year, I will be there, my family is waiting. And yea, maybe after this Olympic year I'll go on vacation there," said Thomas in a post-race interview with Cydon Bowen, after winning the 300m event at the New Balance Indoor Grand Prix in Bowen.
The Harvard graduate who has her eyes set on upsetting the Jamaican duo of Elaine Thompson-Herah and Shericka Jackson at the Paris Olympic Games, will be gunning to have a healthy and successful season in her quest for Olympic glory.
