Marathon legend Eliud Kipchoge has sought to motivate Formula One driver Lewis Hamilton, sending him a heartwarming message as he begins a new adventure with Ferrari.
Marathon legend Eliud Kipchoge has paid glowing tribute to Formula One great Lewis Hamilton while wishing him success following his switch to Ferrari.
Hamilton ended his 12-year association with Mercedes last month as he moves to Ferrari from the 2025 season, beginning a new chapter in his career.
The British driver, who won seven titles with Mercedes, the last in 2020, is hoping that the Italian manufacturers will provide that and Kipchoge is among those who are wishing him success.

Eliud Kipchoge has embraced life after his Paris Olympics setback, resuming training and focusing on inspiring others while preparing for a strong comeback.
“Dear Lewis, change is never easy but it is always the stepping stone to greater horizons. As you step into this new chapter, I want to remind you of the incredible strength and resilience you have shown throughout your career,” Kipchoge said through an Instagram post.
“Like the marathon, life requires us to adapt, endure, and continue moving forward despite challenges. Your decision to move from your team is a courageous step but courage has always been a part of journey.”
Kipchoge then went on to give the 39-year-old tips on how he can ensure his stint with Ferrari is a major success.
“Trust in your preparations, stay true to your values and remember than every end is a new beginning. Keep inspiring the world with your speed, grace and unbelievable determination. Champions like you always find their way to victory. Run your race, Lewis,” he added.
Hamilton signed a multi-year deal with Ferrari worth a reported £41 million per year and is set to take the seat of Carlos Sainz Jr while partnering Charles Leclerc in a power team that the Italian manufacturer hopes will yield success.
The driver had a successful stint with Mercedes, winning his first title in 2018 before back-to-back crowns in 2014 and 2015 and went on to claim four in a row from 2017-2020 for the Silver Arrows.
